Whoopie Pies

(Chocolate Whoopie Pies with strawberry filling recipe)

Hello everyone !!!!!!

The other day someone, (I don’t remember who), asked me why I don’t talk about the things that happen in the world on the blog … what if I don’t comment on current affairs, politics, football, or the League, or the Champions League, the stock market, the risk premiums and all those things that bombard us day in and day out… well,, … … that is to say, of many, many, many joys … that for grief, we are already more than served …

My idea when I write to you every day and share a recipe with you, is, in addition to presenting you new recipes, or classic ones, or from books, or from other blogs, is to try to make you smile for a while… .that you think about how good we have around and in that everything, everything, everything, depends on the glass with which you look at it …. So my chronicles or my articles are to enjoy and to sweeten your life a little, if that is possible, through my words and my lyrics…..

Today I am going to dedicate the recipe to two little people: Elvira and Sarita. Tomorrow is your birthday and from here I send you all my love, I hope it is a day full of surprises, good times, gifts and above all, that you are accompanied by all your friends, around a cake perhaps ??? I love you a lot, my girls !!!!!!

And now we go with today’s recipe, which as you can see is curious. The first idea that comes to mind is that whoopie pies look like giant hamburgers filled with cream… but they are much more than that. They are soft, squishy, fluffy sweet, not at all overly sweet, and perfect for sharing.

I have adapted the recipe to my liking from the book “Cake Days” by The Hummingbird Bakery … and it is very easy to prepare … I hope you like it …
