Ultimate Peanut Butter Fudge Brownies

TO MAKE THE BROWNIE:
1️⃣ Preheat oven to 350°F (176°C). Grease a 9×9 baking pan or line it with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
2️⃣ In a medium-sized bowl, combine flour, cocoa, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
3️⃣ In another bowl, mix together melted butter, sugar, and vanilla extract.
4️⃣ Add eggs to the butter mixture and mix until well combined.
5️⃣ Gradually add the dry ingredients to the egg mixture, mixing until well combined.
6️⃣ Pour batter into the prepared pan and spread evenly.
7️⃣ Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with a few moist crumbs.
TO MAKE THE FUDGE AND TOPPING:
8️⃣ In a bowl, combine white chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and peanut butter. Place over simmering water (double boiler method) and stir until melted and smooth.
9️⃣ The fudge will thicken as it cooks; remove from heat when it starts to get a bit crumbly.
🔟 Stir in the chopped Reeses, then pour over the brownie layer, pressing into an even layer.
1️⃣1️⃣ Refrigerate for 4-5 hours to set.
1️⃣2️⃣ For the topping, melt chocolate chips and shortening together in a microwave in 15-second increments until smooth.
1️⃣3️⃣ Spread melted chocolate over fudge layer and sprinkle with chopped Reeses.
1️⃣4️⃣ Cut into bars and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Best enjoyed within 3-4 days, but can last up to 5-6 days.
Enjoy your baking! 🍫🥜👩‍🍳
