My hubby totally has a sweet tooth, and when he needs his fix, I reach for this recipe
Ingredients:
For the crust:
– 1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
– 1/3 cup sugar
– ½ cup melted butter

For the cream cheese filling:
– 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
– ½ cup powdered sugar
– 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
– 1 cup heavy cream

For the strawberry topping (basic version):
– 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
– 2 cups fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
For a more juicy strawberry topping (advanced version, gives more of a wet look):
– 5 cups quartered strawberries, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons cornstarch, 1 tablespoon lemon juice

– Whipped cream, for garnish (optional)
