Garlic Shrimp Pasta Recipe

1 lb medium shrimp, deveined and tails removed
1 lb spaghetti noodles (adjust based on family size)
6-8 garlic cloves, minced (according to personal taste)
1/4 cup butter
Olive oil (3 drizzles)

Italian seasoning
Fresh ground pepper
Red pepper flakes

Salt

Herbs (according to taste)

Boil pasta in water till tender, saving 1 cup of pasta water for later use. Add oil, salt, and fresh herbs to the boiling pasta. Drain and set aside.
While the pasta is boiling, wash the shrimp.
Melt butter over medium heat. Add shrimp.
Cook until shrimp is slightly pink and starting to curl. Then add minced garlic.
Cook for 5-7 minutes, then add olive oil. Continue stirring until the shrimp is pink and curled.
Add the cooked pasta to the skillet. Season with Italian seasoning, fresh ground pepper, red pepper flakes, salt, and herbs. Pour just enough saved pasta water to ensure it’s not dry but not overly liquid. Start with adding 1/4 of it and adjust as needed.
Toss all ingredients in the skillet until well incorporated and hot.
Enjoy your delicious Garlic Shrimp Pasta!
