Chocolate Mint Cake

This chocolate mint Andes cake taste just like mint chocolate chip ice cream. This is a soft layered chocolate cake filled with Andes mints and topped with mint chocolate chip frosting.

INGREDIENTS

Chocolate Cake

  • 2 ½ cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Dutch process cocoa powder
  • 1 ¾ cup White granulated sugar
  • 2 ½ teaspoon Baking powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¾ cup Oil canola or vegetable
  • 2 teaspoon Pure vanilla extract
  • 4 Large eggs room temperature
  • 1 ¼ cup Buttermilk room temperature
  • 1 cup Hot water
