Chocolate Cupcake Recipe

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with cupcake liners.
In a medium bowl, sift together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
Gradually mix in the dry ingredients alternately with the milk, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Mix until just incorporated. Do not overmix.
Pour or scoop the batter into the prepared cupcake liners, filling them about 2/3 full.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15 to 17 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Remove from the oven and let the cupcakes cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, frost with your favorite frosting and decorate as desired.
