Ingredients

Steak, sliced into strips

– Shrimp, peeled and deveined

– Jerk seasoning

– Yellow rice

– Vegetable oil

– Garlic, minced

– Onion, chopped

– Bell peppers, sliced

– Salt

– Pepper

Directions

1. Start by marinating the steak and shrimp with plenty of jerk seasoning. Let them soak up all those flavors for at least 30 minutes—it’s worth the wait!

2. While your proteins are marinating, prepare the yellow rice just as the package instructs. Fluffy and vibrant, this will be the perfect base for your meal.

3. Heat a good drizzle of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

4. Toss in the garlic, onion, and bell peppers, and sauté until they’re nice and soft, about 3 to 5 minutes.

5. Add your marinated steak and shrimp straight to the skillet. Cook until the steak is done to your liking and the shrimp are pink and cooked through. Don’t forget to season with a pinch of salt and pepper to taste.

6. Spoon the cooked yellow rice onto plates, then pile the sizzling jerk steak and shrimp mixture right on top. Serve immediately and enjoy every flavorful bite!
