Ingredients
1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
Salt and pepper, to taste
1/4 cup white wine or chicken broth
Juice of 1 lemon
1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
Cooked pasta or bread, for serving
Directions
1. Grab your largest skillet and melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Toss in the minced garlic and red pepper flakes, letting them sauté until the kitchen smells amazing—just about a minute.
3. Add the shrimp, seasoning generously with salt and pepper. Let them cook until they turn pink and opaque, about 2–3 minutes per side.
4. Pour in the white wine (or chicken broth, if you prefer) along with the lemon juice. Let everything simmer together for 2–3 minutes so those flavors really meld.
5. Stir in the fresh chopped parsley for a burst of color and freshness.
6. Serve your shrimp scampi hot, spooned over cooked pasta or with crusty bread to soak up all that delicious sauce. Enjoy!
