Lobster, Crab and Shrimp Macaroni and Cheese

2

Ingredients

8 ounces elbow macaroni

4

1 cup lobster meat, cooked and chopped

1 cup crab meat, cooked and picked

1 cup shrimp, cooked and peeled

4 tablespoons butter

4 tablespoons all-purpose flour

3 cups milk

2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

Salt and pepper to taste

1/2 cup breadcrumbs (optional)

2 tablespoons parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

1. Start by cooking the macaroni according to the package instructions. Once it’s perfectly al dente, drain and set it aside.

2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for about a minute, just until it bubbles and loses that raw flour taste.

3. Slowly whisk in the milk, along with the garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Keep that whisk moving to avoid any lumps and let the sauce gently thicken.

4. Once your sauce has thickened up, take it off the heat. Stir in the sharp cheddar and mozzarella cheese until everything’s melted and smooth.

5. Now, gently fold in your cooked macaroni, lobster, crab, and shrimp. Give it all a good stir to make sure the seafood and pasta are evenly coated with that luscious cheese sauce.

6. Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. If you like a bit of crunch on top, sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the surface.

7. Slide the dish into a preheated 350°F (175°C) oven. Let it bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the top is golden and everything’s bubbling away.

8. Once out of the oven, sprinkle over the chopped parsley for a fresh finish. Serve it up warm and enjoy every cheesy, seafood-filled bite.
