Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 cup 7-Up soda
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon lemon extract

Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Coat a 9×13 inch baking pan with a little oil or butter and a dusting of flour so your cake pops out easily later.
2. In a large mixing bowl, stir together the flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda.
3. Add the oil, eggs, 7-Up, vanilla extract, and lemon extract right into the bowl. Mix everything together until it’s smooth and well blended—no need for fancy equipment, a sturdy spoon or hand mixer does the job.
4. Pour the batter into your prepared baking pan and smooth it out.
5. Bake for 30-35 minutes. You’ll know it’s ready when the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
