– 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

– 1/2 cup breadcrumbs

– 1 tablespoon dried parsley

– 1 teaspoon garlic powder

– 1 teaspoon onion powder

– Salt and pepper to taste

– 1/4 cup olive oil

– 1/4 cup grated mozzarella cheese

– 1/4 cup marinara sauce (optional)

Directions:

Let’s get started with a delicious take on a favorite dish! First, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and give a baking sheet a light greasing. In a shallow bowl, mix that lovely Parmesan cheese with breadcrumbs, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, and add a touch of salt and pepper. Now, take your chicken breasts and coat them in this tasty breadcrumb mixture, pressing them gently so it sticks well.

Next, heat up the olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Give the chicken a good sear, cooking them for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they turn a beautiful golden brown. Then, transfer the chicken to the baking sheet. Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese over the top, letting it melt and ooze perfectly over your chicken.
