Apple Dumplings

2

Ingredients:

4

– 2 large apples

– 1 package of crescent roll dough

– 1 cup of sugar

– 1 cup of Sprite or Mountain Dew

– 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

– 1/2 cup of butter

Directions:

1. Let’s start by setting the mood—preheat your oven to a cozy 350°F (175°C).

2. Next, take those beautiful apples, peel and core them, then cut them into quarters.

3. Here’s the fun part—wrap each apple slice in that soft crescent roll dough and nestle them snugly into a greased baking dish.

4. In a saucepan, gently melt the butter, then stir in the sugar and cinnamon until you have a fragrant mixture. Pour this buttery goodness over the dumplings.

5. Now, for a little magic—pour the soda around the dumplings in the baking dish. It might seem unusual, but trust me, it makes them extra delicious!

6. Pop the dish into your preheated oven and let the dumplings bake for about 30 to 35 minutes, or until they’re golden brown and the apples inside are tender.

7. Once they’re ready, serve them warm and enjoy the comforting aroma and taste.
