– 2 cups yellow sweet onions, thinly sliced
– 1 (15 ounce) can chicken broth
– 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
2. Add the sliced onions and sauté until they are translucent and tender, about 10-15 minutes.
3. Pour in the chicken broth and season with salt.
4. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for an additional 10 minutes.
5. Serve hot.
