Grandma’s Old-Fashioned Bread Pudding with Vanilla Sauce

Ingredients:

4 cups cubed day-old bread (French or Italian bread)

2 cups milk

1 cup heavy cream

3/4 cup granulated sugar

4 large eggs

1 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions:

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

2. In a large bowl, mix together the cubed bread, milk, heavy cream, sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until everything is well combined.

3. Pour this mixture into a greased baking dish.

4. Bake it in the oven for 45 to 60 minutes, or until the pudding is set and has a nice, light brown color on top.

5. Once baked, let it cool slightly and enjoy it warm, topped with a delicious vanilla sauce.
