Peaches and Cream Cheesecake Bars

Ingredients you’ll need:

4

– 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup granulated sugar

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

– 16 oz (450g) cream cheese, softened

– 1/2 cup granulated sugar

– Fresh peaches for topping (optional)

– Whipped cream for serving (optional)

Here’s how you make it:

Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9 inch baking dish to make sure nothing sticks later. In a mixing bowl, stir together the graham cracker crumbs, 1/4 cup of sugar, and the melted butter until everything is well combined. Press this crumb mixture firmly into the bottom of your prepared baking dish to create the crust.

For the cheesecake filling, take another bowl and beat the softened cream cheese together with 1/2 cup of sugar until the mixture is completely smooth and creamy. Pour this mixture over the crust you’ve set in the dish and spread it evenly to cover the base.

Put the baking dish into your preheated oven and let it bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until you notice it’s set. Once done, allow it to cool to room temperature first, then move it to the refrigerator to chill for at least 2 hours.

When you’re ready to serve, slice into bars and top them with fresh peaches and a dollop of whipped cream if you like. Enjoy this deliciously sweet and creamy treat!
