Ingredients
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
3 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups chopped apples
1 cup chopped pecans
1 cup caramel sauce
Directions
1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a bundt pan—make sure to get into all those nooks so your cake comes out easily.
2. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon. Give it a good stir to mix everything evenly.
3. Add the softened butter, eggs, and vanilla extract into your dry ingredients. Mix until you have a smooth and luscious batter.
4. Gently fold in your chopped apples and pecans. You want those bits to be evenly distributed, so every slice is packed with goodness.
5. Pour your batter into the prepared bundt pan, smoothing it out for an even bake.
6. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean. Your kitchen will smell incredible at this point!
7. Let the cake relax in the pan for about 10 minutes, then carefully invert it onto a serving plate.
8. While the cake is still slightly warm, drizzle the caramel sauce generously over the top. Slice and enjoy while the caramel is gooey and the cake is tender.
