Beefy Tomato Soup

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef

1 can (28 oz) crushed tomatoes

1 can (15 oz) tomato sauce

1 medium onion, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups beef broth

1 tablespoon Italian seasoning

Salt and pepper to taste

1 cup carrots, diced

1 cup celery, diced

Directions

1. Grab your favorite large pot and brown the ground beef over medium heat until it’s fully cooked and nice and crumbly. Go ahead and drain off any extra fat.

2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic right to the pot with the beef. Stir them around and let everything cook until the onion is soft and the kitchen smells irresistible.

3. Pour in the crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce, and beef broth. Stir well to bring all those wonderful flavors together.

4. Sprinkle in the Italian seasoning, a good pinch of salt and pepper, plus your carrots and celery. Give everything a big stir.

5. Bring your soup up to a gentle simmer. Let it cook for about 30 minutes, stirring every so often, until the veggies are tender and everything has mingled together beautifully.

6. Ladle the soup into bowls and serve it up hot. Enjoy this cozy bowlful with your favorite crusty bread or crackers!
