Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 bell pepper, diced
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
2 cups cooked pasta (like penne or egg noodles)
1 cup beef broth
1 tsp garlic powder
Salt and pepper to taste
2 cups shredded provolone or cheddar cheese
Directions
1. Go ahead and preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) so it’s ready when you are.
2. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat. Once it’s cooked through, drain off any excess fat.
3. Toss in the diced onion, bell pepper, and sliced mushrooms. Sauté everything together until the veggies are nice and soft.
4. Stir in your cooked pasta, the beef broth, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Give it all a good mix so everything is coated and combined.
5. Transfer your hearty mixture to a greased casserole dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheese evenly right on top.
6. Slide the dish into the oven and bake for 20–25 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbling and just turning golden.
7. Let your casserole cool for a few minutes, then serve it up and enjoy!
