Cajun Pasta

2

Ingredients

4

8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)

1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

2 tbsp olive oil

1 bell pepper, chopped

1 onion, chopped

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup chicken broth

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

1. Cook your pasta just how you like it, following the package instructions. Once it’s done, drain and set aside.

2. In a large skillet, warm up the olive oil over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and bell pepper to the pan, and sauté until everything is nice and soft.

3. Next, toss in the minced garlic and your shrimp. Sprinkle the Cajun seasoning right over the top, and cook until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked all the way through.

4. Carefully pour in the chicken broth and heavy cream, stirring everything together. Let it all simmer for a few minutes so the sauce can thicken up a bit.

5. Add your cooked pasta to the skillet, mixing everything well so each noodle is coated in that creamy, Cajun-spiced sauce. Give it a taste and season with salt and pepper as needed.

6. Serve up your Cajun pasta while it’s hot, finished with a sprinkle of fresh parsley for that final touch. Enjoy!
