Baked Crab Legs in Butter Sauce

Ingredients:

  • 2 lbs crab legs (snow crab or king crab)
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Arrange crab legs in a single layer in a baking dish or on a rimmed baking sheet.
  3. In a small saucepan, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  4. Remove from heat and stir in lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  5. Pour the garlic butter sauce evenly over the crab legs.
  6. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to keep moisture in.
  7. Bake crab legs for 15–20 minutes until heated through and fragrant.
  8. Remove from oven, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Tips:

  • Serve with crusty bread or steamed vegetables to soak up the buttery sauce.
  • For extra richness, brush crab legs with additional melted butter before serving.
  • You can also broil for 2–3 minutes at the end for a slight caramelization.
