Ingredients
1 lb chicken breast, cooked and diced
1 cup peas
1 cup potatoes, diced
1/2 cup onion, chopped
3/4 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp thyme
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1 pie crust (top and bottom)
Directions

1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
2. In a large saucepan, mix together the chicken, carrots, peas, potatoes, and onion.
3. Pour in the chicken broth and milk, then sprinkle in the thyme, salt, and pepper. Give everything a gentle stir and cook over medium heat until everything is warmed through.
4. Carefully pour the filling into your pie dish, spreading it out evenly.
5. Lay the top pie crust over the filling, sealing the edges well. Don’t forget to cut a few small slits in the top so steam can escape.
6. Pop the dish into your oven and bake for 30 to 35 minutes, until the crust turns a lovely golden brown.
7. Let your chicken pot pie cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving. Enjoy every comforting bite!
