Ingredients
1 lb steak (such as ribeye or sirloin)
1 lb shrimp, deveined and shelled
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons soy sauce
2 tablespoons butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 cup broccoli florets
1 cup carrots, sliced
1 cup zucchini, sliced
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or hibachi grill over medium-high heat.
2. Sprinkle the steak with salt and pepper, then cook it to your preferred doneness—about 4 to 5 minutes per side for medium rare. Once done, set the steak aside to rest.
3. Using the same pan, toss in the shrimp. Cook until they turn pink and are just cooked through, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
4. Sprinkle in the minced garlic and add the butter, stirring gently until the butter melts and the garlic is fragrant.
5. Now add the broccoli, carrots, and zucchini. Stir-fry everything until the veggies are just tender, about 5 to 7 minutes.
6. Slice the rested steak against the grain and return it to the skillet with the shrimp and vegetables.
7. Drizzle in the soy sauce and toss everything together until nicely coated. Serve hot and enjoy every bite!
