Lemon Butter Baked Shrimp

Ingredients

1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined

4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

2 tablespoons lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

2 garlic cloves, minced

Salt and pepper to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Directions

1. Set your oven to preheat at 400°F (200°C).

2. In a bowl, combine the melted butter with lemon juice, lemon zest, and minced garlic. Give it a good stir to blend all those bright, buttery flavors together.

3. Spread the shrimp out in a baking dish. Pour the butter mixture over the shrimp, making sure they’re nicely coated.

4. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to your liking.

5. Slide the dish into your oven and bake for 10 to 12 minutes, until the shrimp turn pink and are cooked through.

6. Once they’re done, sprinkle fresh chopped parsley over the top and serve right away while they’re still warm and fragrant.
