Ingredients
1 lb crab meat (cooked and shredded)
1 cup celery, finely chopped
1/2 cup red onion, finely chopped
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and pepper, to taste
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
Directions
1. Start by adding the crab meat, celery, and red onion to a large bowl. Give everything a gentle toss so they’re well mixed.
2. In a separate bowl, stir together the mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and pepper until it’s nice and smooth.
3. Pour this creamy dressing right over your crab mixture. Use a spatula or spoon to gently combine everything—take your time so you don’t break up the crab too much.
4. Give the salad a taste and add a little more salt, pepper, or lemon juice if you think it needs it.
5. Pop the bowl into the fridge for at least 30 minutes to let all the flavors come together.
6. When you’re ready to serve, sprinkle the salad with fresh parsley for a burst of color and a hint of fresh flavor, if you like. Enjoy!
