– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

1/2 cup granulated sugar

– 3 large eggs

– 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

– 2 teaspoons almond extract

Directions:

Let’s start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a cozy mixing bowl, cream together that lovely softened butter and sugar until they become all light and fluffy. Now, one by one, crack those eggs into the mixture, giving it a good stir after each addition. Next, stir in the vanilla and almond extracts. Slowly, add in the flour (and feel free to sprinkle in a pinch of baking powder if you like), mixing until a dough forms. Roll the dough into small, charming balls and place them gently on a baking sheet. If you’re feeling playful, press down lightly with a fork or your fingers. Pop them into the oven and bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until you see those edges turning a delightful shade of golden. Let them cool down a bit before serving them up to your lucky guests.
