Ingredients:
1 or 2 pieces of Salmon (about 1 1/2 lbs)
1 tablespoon Peanut or Canola Oil
Jerk seasoning
Lemon juice
Salt and pepper
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a skillet, melt the butter and heat it with the oil over medium heat. Take your pieces of salmon and season them generously with jerk seasoning, salt, and pepper. Place the salmon in the skillet, skin-side down, and let it sear for about 4 to 5 minutes, just until the skin gets nice and crispy. Flip the salmon over and give it a good squeeze of lemon juice. Now, slide the skillet into the oven and let the salmon bake for another 10 to 15 minutes, or until it’s perfectly cooked through. When it’s done, serve it up hot, maybe with some extra lemon slices on the side for a fresh kick. Enjoy your delicious Jerk Lemon Pepper Salmon!
