Crab and Shrimp Seafood Bisque

Ingredients:

– 3 tablespoons butter

– 2 tablespoons chopped green onion

– 2 tablespoons chopped celery

– 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour

– 2 cups seafood stock

– 1 cup heavy cream

– 1 cup crab meat

– 1 cup shrimp, peeled and deveined

– Salt and pepper to taste

– Fresh parsley for garnish

Directions:

In a large pot over medium heat, melt the butter. Toss in the chopped green onions and celery, allowing them to sauté until soft. Next, stir in the flour and let it cook for about 2 minutes while you keep stirring. Slowly add the seafood stock, making sure to stir to prevent lumps. Once it starts simmering, pour in the heavy cream, followed by the crab meat and shrimp. Let it all cook together for another 5 to 7 minutes or until the shrimp are perfectly cooked. Season everything with salt and pepper to your liking. Serve your bisque hot, dressed with a sprinkle of fresh parsley.
