Butterscotch Cake with Caramel Icing

Ingredients:

– 2 Cups Brown Sugar

1/2 Cup Butter

– 1 teaspoon vanilla

– 2 Eggs

– 1 1/2 Cups All-Purpose Flour

– 1 teaspoon Baking Powder

– 1/2 Cup Milk

– Caramel Icing

Directions:

1. Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C) and greasing and flouring a cake pan.

2. In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.

3. Add the eggs one at a time, making sure to mix well after each addition. Then stir in the vanilla.

4. In a separate bowl, combine flour and baking powder. Gradually add this dry mixture to the sugar mixture, alternating with the milk. Make sure to begin and end with the flour mixture.

5. Pour the batter into your prepared pan and smooth out the top.

6. Bake for about 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center of the cake comes out clean.

7. Once baked, let the cake cool before spreading the caramel icing over it. Enjoy your delicious creation!
