Ingredients:
– 8 oz fettuccine pasta
– 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
– 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye), sliced thin
– 3 cloves garlic, minced
– 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
– 1/2 cup heavy cream
– 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
– 2 tbsp olive oil
– Salt and pepper to taste
– Fresh basil for garnish
Directions:
Start by cooking the fettuccine according to the package instructions. Once done, drain it and set it aside for later. In a large skillet, warm up the olive oil over medium heat, then toss in the minced garlic and sauté it for about a minute until it’s aromatic. Next, add in the steak slices. Don’t forget to season them with some salt and pepper. Let them cook for around 3 to 4 minutes until they’re nice and browned, then remove them from the skillet and set them aside.
Using the same skillet, place the shrimp in and cook them until they’re pink, which should take about 2 to 3 minutes. Add in the cherry tomatoes and let them cook for another 2 minutes. Turn down the heat a bit and slowly pour in the heavy cream, followed by the Parmesan cheese. Stir everything together until the cheese has melted and it’s all creamy.
Now, add the cooked pasta and the steak back into the skillet. Give everything a good toss until it’s well combined and everything is nicely coated in that creamy sauce. To finish, serve it all up garnished with some fresh basil. Enjoy!
