Crock Pot Smothered Pork Chops

2

Ingredients

4

4 pork chops

1 can cream of mushroom soup

1 onion, sliced

1 cup chicken broth

Salt and pepper to taste

Optional: 1 teaspoon garlic powder

Optional: 1 teaspoon paprika

Directions

1. Start by seasoning your pork chops with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika. Give them a nice, even coating so every bite is flavorful.

2. In your crock pot, place the sliced onions on the bottom, making a cozy bed for your pork chops.

3. Lay the seasoned pork chops on top of the onions.

4. Pour the cream of mushroom soup and chicken broth evenly over the pork chops, letting everything mix together gently.

5. Cover the crock pot and cook on low for 6 to 8 hours, or on high for 3 to 4 hours, until the pork chops are fall-apart tender.

6. When you’re ready to serve, spoon those tender pork chops and the savory gravy over a plate of mashed potatoes or a bowl of rice for pure comfort. Enjoy!
