1. Cook bacon

2. Cook beef mixture
- In the same skillet, cook ground beef and onions over medium heat until browned.
- Add garlic, salt, pepper, tomato paste, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 2–3 minutes.
- Stir in cream cheese until melted and fully combined. Remove from heat.
3. Assemble the casserole
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Spread the beef mixture evenly into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs and heavy cream. Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheese.
- Pour the egg mixture over the beef. Top with remaining cheese and cooked bacon.
4. Bake
- Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the top is golden and the center is set.
5. Serve
- Let cool for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with chopped pickles, tomatoes, or shredded lettuce if desired.
Tips:
- For extra flavor, mix in diced pickles or a splash of hot sauce to the beef layer.
- Swap cheddar for pepper jack or mozzarella for a different twist.
- This reheats well and makes a great meal prep option.
