- 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 5 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
- ½ teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for heat)
- Juice of 1 lemon
- ¼ cup chopped fresh parsley
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Cooked pasta, rice, or crusty bread for serving

- Season shrimp with Cajun seasoning, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil and 2 tablespoons butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add shrimp and cook 2-3 minutes per side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside.
- Lower heat to medium and add remaining butter. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes; sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add lemon juice and parsley, stir to combine.
- Return shrimp to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Cook for another minute to heat through.
- Serve immediately over pasta, rice, or with crusty bread to soak up the sauce.
