- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground meat, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, egg, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce if using. Mix gently until combined.
- Shape: Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place in a baking dish or loaf pan.
- Top: Spread ketchup evenly over the top.
- Bake for 60–70 minutes until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
