This Parmesan Meatloaf is a flavorful twist on a classic comfort food. Juicy ground meat is seasoned with garlic and herbs, mixed with Parmesan cheese for extra savory richness, and baked to perfection. It’s a hearty, satisfying meal perfect for family dinners.

  • 1.5 lbs ground beef (or a mix of beef and pork)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (or 1 tsp dried)
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 cup ketchup (for topping)
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mix ingredients: In a large bowl, combine ground meat, Parmesan, breadcrumbs, milk, onion, garlic, egg, parsley, oregano, salt, pepper, and Worcestershire sauce if using. Mix gently until combined.
  3. Shape: Form the mixture into a loaf shape and place in a baking dish or loaf pan.
  4. Top: Spread ketchup evenly over the top.
  5. Bake for 60–70 minutes until cooked through and the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Serve the Parmesan Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or a fresh salad for a classic, comforting meal.
