Cranberry Citrus Delight Cookies are bright, tangy, and bursting with festive flavors. These soft, chewy cookies combine tart dried cranberries and zesty citrus notes from orange and lemon, balanced with a buttery sweet dough. Ingredients:

  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Zest of 1 orange
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 ½ cups dried cranberries
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

Instructions:

1. Preheat oven and prepare baking sheets

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.

2. Mix dry ingredients

In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.

3. Cream butter and sugars

In a large bowl, beat butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and fluffy.

4. Add eggs and flavorings

Beat in eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract, orange zest, and lemon zest.

5. Combine wet and dry ingredients

Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.

6. Add cranberries and nuts

Fold in dried cranberries and nuts if using.

7. Scoop and bake

Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 10–12 minutes, or until edges are lightly golden but centers remain soft.

8. Cool

Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.


Storage:

Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 5 days.
