These Crispy Cordon Bleu Chicken Wraps are a delicious, portable twist on the classic Chicken Cordon Bleu. Tender chicken, ham, and melted Swiss cheese are wrapped in a crispy golden coating, making them a perfect handheld meal or appetizer. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce for added flavor!
Ingredients
4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
4 slices ham
4 slices Swiss cheese
1 cup all-purpose flour
2 large eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups panko breadcrumbs
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)
Toothpicks (to secure wraps)

1. Prepare the Chicken:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Flatten the chicken breasts by pounding them to an even thickness, about 1/2 inch, using a meat mallet or rolling pin. This will help them cook more evenly.
2. Assemble the Wraps:
Lay a slice of ham and a slice of Swiss cheese on each chicken breast.
Carefully roll up the chicken, folding in the sides to ensure the filling stays inside. Secure each chicken roll with toothpicks.
3. Prepare the Coating:
In one shallow dish, place the flour.
In a second shallow dish, beat the eggs.
In a third shallow dish, combine the panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
4. Coat the Chicken Wraps:
Dredge each chicken roll first in the flour, coating it evenly.
Dip it into the beaten eggs, then roll it in the seasoned panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere the coating.
5. Cook the Wraps:
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Carefully add the chicken rolls to the pan, cooking them for about 3-4 minutes on each side until the coating is golden brown and crispy.
Transfer the chicken rolls to a baking sheet and finish cooking them in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
6. Serve:
Remove the toothpicks from the wraps before serving.
